Deliverance is freedom. Whether it is freedom from sin, brokenness, bondage, sickness, unclean spirits, etc., we believe Jesus sets the captive free. Luke 4:18

If the word possessed means ownership to you, then no, a Christian cannot be owned by the enemy. We do, however, believe that a Christian can be demonized. This includes harassed, manipulated, oppressed, tormented, etc.   Eph 4:26-27; Matthew 18:21-35; Eph 6:10-20

Different ministries likely have some similarities, but a common thread would be an initial meeting to talk about what you would like God to do.

Look for ministries that show love, speak the truth, and have references.

Typically sessions involve seeking God for any areas of repentance, forgiveness, breaking soul ties and other soul related issues. Casting out spirits is about 95% of what most effective ministries may do.

The speed with which prayer recipients receive healing and freedom is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to:  Desire for freedom, completion of assignments, pursuit of God, and dedication to the process. Our teams  train those we are ministering to  hear God and offer tools to help maintain victorious living. Depending on what is needed, we typically see people 3-7 times. This may vary depending on the situation.

Some ministries do ask for a donation or amount to cover costs. The following is how our teams operate.

Prayer Cost:   Zero

Resources: We may have books or videos we ask you to view. If we have loaner copies, we will be happy to share. If not, we ask you to purchase the materials.

Ministry Expenses:  Any donation to the ministry are appreciated, but not mandatory. If you find value in what the team does, we ask that you consider making a donation of any amount to aide us in helping others.  You can give by selecting Freedom Ministry from the drop down menu here: https://pushpay.com/g/theriver?src=hpp

Please cancel or reschedule using the same app you used to make the appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will need to reschedule for a later time. If you are a no call-no show 2 times, we will suspend your ability to schedule on the app. We spend quite a bit of time and resources preparing for each class/session. We ask that those coming respect this and participate in their own deliverance.

We ask that you speak with a leader at your church and get their blessing to seek out freedom ministry with us. It is our goal to work in unity with other churches to train ministry teams and assist with prayer needs.

Yes. They are as follows:

  1. Get the blessing from your pastor/leader if at all possible.
  2. The best candidate is not just wanting to get rid of a few bad habits or issues to feel better, but has a desire to follow after God and is driven to be free.
  3. You will be asked to complete a liability waiver and a questionnaire.
  4. If you are a minor, you will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver and give permission for ministry.
  5. You will be asked to complete homework. This will differ according to your needs. It could include but not limited to: worksheets, reading, YouTube videos, audios, etc. (The more driven you are to do the work, submit yourself to God, and seek His face, the quicker the process will be!)

Part of the deliverance process is removing any foothold that the enemy has taken in a believer’s life. Jesus did not send anyone out to minister unless they were also prepared to deal with unclean spirits. Therefore, if there is an issue where the enemy has set up a stronghold, we do have the authority to remove it in Jesus’ name..  (Mark 16:17)    Note: What we often hear from those getting freedom from strongholds is extreme relief and peace. This part of the ministry is done with a lot of love and care in a quiet atmosphere.

We will pray over each applicant. If at all possible, we will do our best to minister to them. If, however, we feel that they would be better served through another ministry or through Christian counseling, we will refer the applicant, if a reference is available. If not, we reserve the right to decline any applicant.

Jesus already paid the price for your freedom. If you want to be free, then freedom is yours. There are some things that you will need to do to close the doors to the enemy having access in your life. Your willingness to repent, forgive, follow the voice of God, and choose to believe what God says about you will catapult you into freedom. Refusing to submit your will to God will keep you from total freedom. Deliverance is a process with the Lord in charge.  Check out a video from a teaching course that addresses this area:  https://youtu.be/UGvhuV2vdzI

No. This is a healing/deliverance/Luke 4:18 prayer ministry. We do not claim to diagnosis, treat, or in any way perform medical assistance. We have seen people healed, but it is because of the nature of Jesus Christ, not because of something we personally have done.

We are not medical doctors and will never advise you on medicine. In fact, there are medications that should never be discontinued without the order and direction of a medical doctor. If you have been healed, then why not have it confirmed by your physician?

No. This is a healing/deliverance/Luke 4:18 prayer ministry. We may offer Biblical instruction, but we focus on praying for people and helping them connect with the truth in Christ. We do believe in the gifts of the spirit according to 1 Corinthians 12, and these gifts are typically in operation during each class/session.

It is true that God heals marriages! This ministry, however, does not do marriage counseling. What we will do is help each spouse process healing and freedom. As each spouse is released of things like pain, hurt, rejection, rebellion, etc, the marriage is often on its way to being healed. We prefer to pray separately with each spouse until much of the healing, forgiveness and truth is released and then do a joint prayer session together.
